CANCELLATION / REFUND POLICY

Students who find it necessary to withdraw from their courses of study must contact the office in writing.

Refunds after the program of study starts:

If the institution receives written notice of withdrawal, or a student is dismissed, within 10% if the program of study’s duration, the institution may retain 30% of the total due under the contract. If the institution receives written notice of withdrawal, or a student is dismissed, within 30% if the program of study’s duration, the institution may retain 50% of the total due under the contract.

If a student withdraws or is dismissed after 30% of the program of study’s duration, no refund is required.

 This refund applies to the tuition only ($184.97 per module) and does not include the cost of the books or the course material.

DISMISSAL POLICY

Certain conditions, including but not limited to the following, will bring about disciplinary action whereby students may be suspended or even dismissed from The Longevity Centre:

  • Failure to complete assignments and to maintain a passing grade over an extended period of time;
  • Cheating or plagiarism;
  • Sexual harassment of any fellow student or teacher; ·
  • Theft or non-accidental damage to The Longevity Centre's property; ·
     
  • Refusal to cooperate with school instructors and schedules.
     
    In the case of a dismissal The Longevity Centre will provide written notice.

DISPUTE RESOLUTION POLICY

Students who have been disciplined may appeal as per the following resolution policy:

The Longevity Centre will designate a mediation expert to review complaints. A written submission from all parties concerned will be requested. This submission will be reviewed by the designated mediator, who will then provide a written decision outlining the justification for the decision to all parties involved in the dispute.
